Brits are renowned for being obsessed with texting. Such is their obsession with texting that they become blind folded to objects around them while using their mobile phones. Daily Star has printed some interesting stats about this obsession.

You will be amazed to read that during the year 2007 around 6 million mobile users got injured. Injuries that took place during 2007 varied from minor injuries to some serious injuries like broken noses and fractured skulls.  According to a study conducted by  a phone directory service one out of 10 Brits crashed into lampposts,trash bins and other objects around them while using their mobile phones during 2007.

Now those are some shocking stats! I hope Brits are going to be more careful during 2008 :)
